Christine & Will

Christine and Will were married on Saturday, July 5 at Francis Asbury United Methodist Church. A reception followed at Cavalier Beach Club. This is the joining of two fantastic families that have been friends since before 'the kids' started dating in high school.

Their colors were Fuchsia and Green! Christine, an Engineer and self-professed Type A, made many of the items for her wedding. From the save the date cards to welcome baskets in pink beach totes, trimmed with striped ribbon. The amenities included local favorites Jody's popcorn and Suffolk peanuts, plus homemade chocolates and custom Koozies and Frisbees. The whole feel of the event was beach inspired. There were multiple parties over the July 4th holiday weekend.

Christine's signature pink, green, and white striped grosgrain ribbon was seen everywhere from the welcome basket, to the Best Wishes containers, and cinched the cocktail tables. Guest table linens were apple green and green apples filled glass vases topped with vibrant pink arrangements that included hydrangea and peonies. Cocktail tables sported floating Gerber daisies and Bear Grass or alternately silver lanterns - all were surrounded by shells. The color scheme was carried out in the wedding party attire.

Love the Green polka dot bow ties guys!

Other lovely touches included a scrapbook of the couple's journey together on a heritage table (family photos), the programs made by the bride, and an heirloom pin from the groom's family that the bride wore on her bouquet.
The food was great and guests danced all night to the sounds of The Gentlemen & Their Lady. A monogrammed ice sculpture and yummy cake were finishing touches!

I was thrilled to be a part of this event and wish the couple and their families all the best. Congratulations!
